Harris is an island accessible only by car ferry and plane (see below).
Ferries are very busy all year round and peak sailings sell out quickly in high season. Advance booking is critical to avoid disappointment.
Please book ferries as soon as you identify your holiday dates - they can be changed / refunded for a small fee. See below.
Sea View House is located in south west Harris, about 45 minutes drive from the ferry port at Tarbert and about 90 minutes drive from the ferry and airport in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
5 minutes by car from Leverburgh and the ferry to North Uist and St. Kilda boat trips.
By Air
Logan Air flies into Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis which is part of the same island landmass - you can drive between Lewis and Harris.
Flights (small planes) arrive daily from Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with connections to UK airports and international destinations.
Car hire is available in Stornoway - book early as limited stock.
By Sea (Ferry)
Caledonian MacBrayne (known as CalMac) provide all ferries to and from the islands
